The person behind Promptix

Hello,
I’m Andrey.
Nice to meet you.

I’m a developer based in Saint Petersburg. I build custom websites and web services: shaping the structure, designing the interface, writing the code and helping after launch.

I bring more than seven years of commercial experience with Russian and international companies. This is where you can get to know me and talk through your own project.

From idea to support

I enjoy building
a project as a whole.

I like the moment when an idea from a conversation becomes something people can use: opening a site, choosing a product, booking an appointment or sending an enquiry.

That is why I work on both what visitors see on screen and what happens after they click a button. A comfortable interface, fast loading, a working form and a clear admin area are all parts of the same task.

Over the years, I have built landing pages and multi-page websites, stores, accounts and systems with complex logic. That experience helps me spot the details early: where an enquiry goes, how a catalogue is updated, what happens when a payment fails and how to add a feature six months later.

I choose an approach that fits the project: WordPress or another CMS, or a custom Laravel and Vue solution for specialised tasks. The choice always comes back to your goals, budget and plans.

How I work

Experience you
can rely on.

I have worked independently, in teams and as a development lead. I understand both a small client website and a service that needs daily support.

  1. December 2024 — July 2026

    SmartSites

    Senior developer

Client websites, internal services and digital-marketing automation. I developed server-side features, connected websites to external services, worked with Shopify and other CMS platforms, and maintained existing products.

  2. September 2023 — October 2024

    Andagar

    Web services developer

BILL4YOU, a tournament platform, a healthcare portal and the SEMANTEX analytics service. I built APIs, set up integrations and improved established systems without disrupting familiar user journeys.

  3. July 2021 — September 2023

    Sinergium

    Team lead / developer

Led a team of up to ten people: planned work, reviewed code and supported developers. Together we built healthcare websites and developed our own site engine and website builder.

  4. January 2019 — June 2021

    Intellectsoft

    Frontend and backend developer

Custom e-commerce, online services and corporate systems. I worked with catalogues, carts, payments, delivery and accounts — from customer-facing screens to admin panels.

A few projects
to get acquainted.

A clinic website, a marketplace and a tournament service — different problems where I handled the core development. The case studies go into more detail and are currently in Russian.

All projects

I want the process
to feel calm.

Ordering development is easier when you know who is doing the work, what is happening now and what comes next. That is how I organise projects.

  1. First, we get clear on the task

You can come with an idea in just a few sentences. I will ask about your business and customers, then help choose the features that matter. Before we begin, we agree on scope, budget and timing.

  2. You can see the work taking shape

I split the work into clear stages and show interim results. This lets us check the direction and make changes before they grow into a full redesign.

  3. We talk directly and make practical decisions

The person answering your questions is the person building the project. I explain technical choices in plain language, respond promptly during working hours and discuss changes to timing or scope in advance.

  4. There is someone to turn to after launch

I hand over access and explain how to manage the site. I can also provide ongoing support: fixes, updates, new pages and features. We will choose a format that fits your project.

A little more personal

After work,
I still like to make things.

I enjoy making games, inventing useful tools and showing how they come to life.

On YouTube and streams, I unpack ideas, sketch diagrams, write code and experiment with AI. You can see the actual process: decisions, mistakes, iterations and the moment something finally works.

Personal projects led to Stream Tools for broadcasts and WorkTimer, a timer for work, study and streams. I like using what I build myself — it makes the next improvement obvious.

I also run Code Artel, a community for people interested in making websites, games and their own projects. We discuss ideas and help one another. You are welcome to join, even if you are not planning to hire anyone right now.

Have an idea?

Now, let’s talk about your idea.

Tell me what you would like to create or improve. I’ll read it, ask the right questions and suggest where to begin. You do not need a finished brief.
